Current Reporting Requirement(s):
All electric utilities must report annual system-wide SAIDI, SAIFI, and CAIDI metrics, as well as a narrative summary of the system’s key facts. Major Event days are to be reported both excluded and included, per the IEEE 1366 standard. The count of sustained interruptions, with Major Event days excluded, must be reported according to cause. The performance of all individual circuits must be reported via SAIDI, SAIFI, and CAIDI figures with Major Event days excluded; a list of the top five % of the utility’s worst performing circuits must also be reported, with a minimum of one circuit chosen per service area.
